CITY COUNCIL WORK SESSION <br />CITY OF RAMSEY <br />ANOKA COUNTY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br />The Ramsey City Council conducted a City Council Work Session on Tuesday, July 20, 2010, at <br />the Ramsey Municipal Center, 7550 Sunwood Drive NW, Ramsey, Minnesota. <br />Members Present: Mayor Bob Ramsey <br />Councilmember John Dehen <br />Councilmember David Elvig <br />Councilmember David Jeffrey <br />Councilmember Matt Look <br />Councilmember Colin McGlone <br />Members Absent: Councilmember Jeffrey Wise <br />Also Present: City Administrator Kurtis Ulrich <br />Deputy City Administrator Heidi Nelson <br />Public Works Director/Principal City Engineer Brian Olson <br />Planning Manager Amber Miller <br />Park Supervisor Mark Riverblood <br />Management Intern Jessica Hendricks <br />Darren Lazan, Landform Development Manager <br />CALL TO ORDER <br />Mayor Ramsey called the City Council Work Session to order at 6:55 p.m. <br />APPROVE AGENDA <br />The agenda was approved as submitted. <br />COUNCIL TOPICS FOR DISCUSSION <br />1) Creating a Memorial Park in Ramsey Town Center <br />Management Intern Jessica Hendricks reviewed the staff report. <br />Marty Fisher and Denny Fredrickson from the Ramsey Rotary Club were present to discuss the <br />use of memorial pavers and the potential for a memorial sight at the west end of Meandering <br />Park. Mr. Fisher described a sculpture for display at the west end of the pond and how the <br />pavers could be placed there and to also work their way out to various trails. <br />Councilmember Dehen asked about a possible active water feature. <br />City Council Work Session /July 20, 2010 <br />Page 1 of 4 <br />
