CITY COUNCIL WORK SESSION <br />CITY OF RAMSEY <br />ANOKA COUNTY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br />The Ramsey City Council conducted a City Council Work Session on Tuesday, January 11, <br />2011, at the Ramsey Municipal Center, 7550 Sunwood Drive NW, Ramsey, Minnesota. <br />Members Present: <br />Also Present: <br />Mayor Bob Ramsey <br />Councilmember Randy Backous <br />Councilmember David Elvig <br />Councilmember David Jeffrey <br />Councilmember Colin McGlone <br />Councilmember Jason Tossey <br />Councilmember Jeffrey Wise <br />City Administrator Kurtis Ulrich <br />Assistant Community Developer Tim Gladhill <br />Fire Chief Dean Kapler <br />CALL TO ORDER <br />Mayor Ramsey called the City Council Work Session to order at 6:01 p.m. <br />APPROVE AGENDA <br />The agenda was approved as submitted. <br />COUNCIL TOPICS FOR DISCUSSION <br />1) Receive Legislative Activities Report <br />Elwin Tinklenberg, The Tinldenberg Group, presented the status on current legislative initiates. <br />Council discussed possible ways to obtain funding for the rail station. <br />2) Review Consulting Services Proposal from The Tinklenberg Group <br />It was Council's consensus to approve the $18,000.00 and $6,000.00 proposal from The <br />Tinklenberg Group. <br />3) Update on Mississippi River Corridor Critical Area (MRCCA) Rulemaking <br />Planning Assistant Gladhill reviewed staff's report. <br />City Council Work Session / January 11, 2011 <br />Page 1 of 2 <br />
