AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE SALE OF CERTAIN CITY OWNED <br />PROPERTY LOCATED IN THE CITY OF RAMSEY. <br />The City of Ramsey ordains. <br />SECTION 1. PURPOSE <br />SECTION 2 SALE AUTHORIZATION <br />ORDINANCE #11 -02 <br />CITY OF RAMSEY <br />ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA <br />It is the purpose of this Ordinance to authorize the City to sell certain real property, <br />which property the City Council has determined is no longer necessary for the City's purposes. <br />This Ordinance is adopted pursuant to and under the authority of Section 12.5 of the City <br />Charter. <br />The City Council hereby declares the following legally described real property, owned by <br />the City, as surplus property and hereby authorizes its sale. Said property is legally described as <br />follows: <br />Commencing at the Northeast corner of the west 10 acres of the east 20 acres of <br />Lot 1, Auditor's Subdivision Number 27, Anoka County, Minnesota, thence south <br />on the east line of said tract a distance of 33.90 feet to the actual point of <br />beginning of the parcel to be described; thence south a distance of 50 feet; thence <br />west and parallel to the center line of County State Aid Highway No. 7 to the west <br />line of said tract; thence north on the west line of said tract a distance of 50 feet to <br />a point which is 36.81 feet southerly of the Northwest corner of said tract; thence <br />east parallel to the center line of said County State Aid Highway No. 7 to the <br />point of commencement. <br />SECTION 3. TERMS OF SALE <br />The City Council has, by a properly enacted motion, determined the consideration and <br />terms upon which the above described property may be sold. <br />SECTION 4. EFFECTIVE DATE <br />This Ordinance becomes effective upon its passage and thirty (30) days after its <br />publication according to law, subject to City Charter Provision, Section 5.7. <br />Ordinance #11 - 02 <br />Page 1 of 2 <br />
