Members Present: <br />FINANCE COMMITTEE <br />CITY OF RAMSEY <br />ANOKA COUNTY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br />The Finance Committee conducted a regular meeting on Tuesday, February 22, 2011, at the <br />Ramsey Municipal Center, 7550 Sunwood Drive NW, Ramsey, Minnesota. <br />Councilmember David Elvig <br />Councilmember Randy Backous <br />Councilmember Jeffrey Wise (arrived 5:13 p.m.) <br />Also Present: Finance Officer Diana Lund <br />Senior Accountant Denelle McAlpine <br />CALL TO ORDER <br />Chairperson Elvig called the regular meeting of the Finance Committee to order at 5:11 p.m. <br />CITIZEN INPUT <br />There was none. <br />APPROVE AGENDA <br />Motion by Councilmember Backous, seconded by Chairperson Elvig, to approve the agenda as <br />submitted. <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Chairperson Elvig, Councilmember Backous. Voting No: None. <br />Absent: Councilmember Wise. <br />COMMITTEE BUSINESS <br />Case #1: Consider Contract for Agent of Record for Property, Casualty, and Workers <br />Compensation Insurance <br />Finance Officer Lund reviewed the staff report. <br />Councilmember Wise arrived at 5:13 p.m. <br />Councilmember Backous agreed the rate offered is acceptable. <br />Chairperson Elvig asked if the insurer is aware of the parking ramp, and the desire to build a <br />train stop in the City. <br />Finance Officer Lund agreed to check to make sure the insurer is current with these operations. <br />Finance Committee / February 22, 2011 <br />Page 1 of 4 <br />
