Councihnember Zimmerman introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> RESOLUTION #03-01-022 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION ADOPTING COMPENSATION PLAN FOR NON-UNION EMPLOYEES <br />FOR 2003 <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, on December 14, 2002, the City Council approved the 2003 budget; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the 2003 budget included a cost of living increase (COLA) of 3.5% with a <br />4% step plan with step increases occurring on anniversary dates of employment; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, this compensation plan is consistent with the percentages used for the cost <br />of living increase (COLA) and step plan established in 2002. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />RASMEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br />1) That it was determined that the 2003 Compensation Plan for non-union employees (a <br /> copy of which is available in the Human Resource Manager's office) should include a <br /> 3.5% cost of living increase (COLA) and a 4% step plan with increases occurring on <br /> anniversary dates of employment. <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember <br />Elvig, and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br /> <br /> Mayor Gamec <br /> Councilmember Zimmerman <br /> Councilmember Elvig <br /> Councilmember Pearson <br /> Councilmember Strommen <br /> Councilmember Zimmerman <br /> <br />and the following voted against the same: <br /> <br /> None <br /> <br />and the following abstained: <br /> <br /> None <br /> <br />and the following were absent: <br /> <br /> Councilmember Cook <br /> <br /> <br />
