AGENDA: Ramsey City Council <br /> Ramsey Park and Recreation Commission <br /> <br />TYPE OF MEETI~: Special Joint Meeting <br /> <br />TIME/DATE: 7:00 p.m., Thursday, June 9, 1988 <br /> <br />LOCATION: Ramsey Municipal Center, 15153 Nowthen Blvd. N.W., Ramsey, MN <br /> <br />CALL TO ORDER <br /> <br />CITIZEN INPUT <br /> <br />APPROVAL OF AGENDA <br /> <br />QOUNCIL AND COMMISSION BUSINESS <br /> <br />Case #1: Discussion regarding proposed amendment to Section 170.03 of the <br /> Ramsey City Code amending park dedication requirements. <br /> <br />The Park and Recreation Commission recommended amending that <br />portion of Section 170.03 of the Ramsey City Code regarding park <br />dedication requirements to allow the City to acquire land ~ <br />cash. Currently, the City Code only permits the City to acquire <br />land Q~ cash to satisfy park dedication requirements. If <br />adopted, this revision will require subdividers/developers to pay <br />the park dedication fee, if cash is desired. <br /> <br />For your information~ attached are the following items: <br /> <br />a) Proposed ordinance; and <br />b) Comparison of other conm~nities' park requirements. <br /> <br />Case #2: Discussion regarding proposed trail corridors. <br /> <br />Last year, the City Council requested the Park Commission to <br />propose corridors for recreational trails. For your information, <br />attached is a map showing the trail system proposed by the Park <br />Commission. <br /> <br />Case #3: Discussion regarding park development. <br /> <br />Case #4: Discussion regarding park maintenance and enforcement of <br /> trespassing regulations. <br /> <br />Case #5: Other business. <br /> <br />COUNCIL ANDCOMMI$SION INPUT <br /> <br /> <br />
