PROCEEDINGS OF CITY COUNCIL <br />CITY OF RAMSEY <br /> ANOKA~ <br /> STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> <br />The Ramsey City Council conducted a special meeting on Thursday, January 12, 1989 at the <br />Ramsey Municipal Center, 15153 Nowthen Blvd. N.W., Ramsey, Minnesota. <br /> <br />Members Present: <br /> <br />Mayor Gary Reimann <br />Councilmember Stephen F. DeLuca <br />Councilmember Richard Cich <br />Councilmember Al Pearson <br /> <br />Aisc Present: <br /> <br />City Administrator David Hartley <br />City Finance Officer Sandra Ashley <br />Community Development Director Mark Banwart <br /> <br />Members Absent: Councilmember Kenneth Peterson <br /> <br />CALL TO ORDER <br /> <br />Mayor Reimann called the special City Council meeting to order at 5:35 p.m. <br /> <br />CITIZEN INPUT <br /> <br />None. <br /> <br />COUNCIL BUSINESS <br /> <br />Case #1: Discussion Regarding Results of Council/City Staff Strategic <br /> Planning Workshop On December 17, 1988. <br /> <br />Bob Kjelden was present to review the results of the December 17, 1988 Strategic Planning <br />Workshop. It is evident that the total consensus of the Council and City Staff is that high <br />priority items are Council support, communication network and consistency. Mr. Kjelden <br />stated that now the City must establish a plan for implementing the high priority items defined <br />at the workshop. The implementation plan should define specific objectives that will respond to <br />the high priority items, designate a person to accomplish the specific objectives and establish a <br />time frame for accomplishment. <br /> <br />Mr. Hartley volunteered to devise an implementation plan with support and input from <br />Councilmember DeLuca. Mr. Hadley stated that he is proposing to have that implementation <br />plan available for Council review on January 24. <br /> <br />ADJOURNMENT <br /> <br />The meeting adjourned at 6:30 p.m. <br /> <br /> <br />
