ORDINANCE #12 -19 <br />CITY OF RAMSEY <br />ANOKA COUNTY STATE OF MINNESOTA <br />AN AMENDMENT TO CHAPTER 117 WHICH IS KNOWN AS THE ZONING AND <br />SUBDIVISION OF LAND CHAPTER OF THE CITY CODE OF RAMSEY, MINNESOTA. <br />AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 117 -118 "THE COR DISTRICTS" OF CHAPTER 117 <br />OF THE CITY CODE OF RAMSEY, MINNESOTA TO AMEND SUB - DISTRICT BOUNDARIES, <br />PARKING REGULATIONS, PARKS SECTION, AND MASTER SIGN PLAN. <br />The City of Ramsey ordains: <br />SECTION 1. AMENDMENT <br />Section 117 - 118 of Ramsey City Code shall be amended as follows: <br />(2) Development standards. <br />(d) General development standards. All development within the COR District shall meet the COR Development <br />Framework that is incorporated into this chapter by reference, as amended by the City Council on November <br />27, 2012. These standards will be used by the city as the minimum requirements for evaluating development <br />proposals and site plans. However, the standards are not intended to restrict creativity in design. An applicant <br />may request modification or waiver of any standard in favor of an alternate approach that will achieve the <br />same design objective. <br />SECTION 2. SUMMARY <br />The following official summary of Ordinance #12 -19 has been approved by the City Council of the City of <br />Ramsey as clearly informing the public of the intent and effect of the Ordinance. <br />It is the intent of this Ordinance to amend the standards in Section 111 -118 of Chapter 117 of the Ramsey <br />City Code to amend minimum and maximum parking regulations for restaurant users, amend the Master <br />Sign Plan to include standards for Community Signs, amend sign regulations for users with shared access, <br />and amend the Parks section to note the City's preferred location of the Central Anoka County Regional <br />Trail. The Design Framework is incorporated by reference in Chapter 117, and has the effect of being the <br />Zoning Code for The COR District. <br />SECTION 3. EFFECTIVE DATE <br />The effective date of this ordinance is thirty (30) days after its passage and publication, subject to City <br />Charter Section 3.9. <br />Adopted by the Ramsey City Council the 27 day of November, 2012. <br />Ordinance #12 -19 <br />Page 1 of 2 <br />Mayor <br />
