Attached to the Weekly Update is a flyer for the 9th Annual Fine Art Fundraising Gala. <br />Public Works Committee (6:00 p.m. — LIR) <br />• Receive Update on Highway 10 Access Planning Study and Discuss Potential Future <br />Land Use Outcomes Update on Alpine Drive trail connection between Nowthen <br />Boulevard and Krypton Street <br />• Update on status of Feasibility Reports for Andrie Street and Garnet & 168 Streets <br />• Update on 2014 Anoka County Highway Construction Projects and Mississippi River <br />Crossing <br />• Legislative Update on Street Improvement District Authority <br />Annual Training. Officers completed their annual eight hour Use of Force training this past week. <br />Areas of training included, handcuffing, ground fighting, escort holds, chemical agents, collapsible <br />baton use, hobble restraint, weapon retention and stop sticks. <br />More Training. Sgt. Bluml attended a 3 day internal affairs investigation class hosted by the <br />Upper Midwest Community Police Institute. <br />Search Called Off. The search for the person missing in the Mississippi River from the incident <br />last week was discontinued on Wednesday. No further searches are planned at this time. <br />Meeting with Fire Department. Mayor Strommen and City Administrator Ulrich met with <br />firefighters this week to update them abou the work of the Joint Fire Service Study Committee. <br />Engineering Department Updates: <br />Pothole Repairs. City crews are still working hard to repair the potholes that have cropped up on <br />City streets this spring. If you know of a pothole on a city street that needs to be repaired, please <br />call the Street Maintenance Department at 763 - 427 -8254 and repairs will be made as soon as <br />practical. You can also report potholes using the City of Ramsey's Request and Response <br />Customer Support program by clicking on the "Requests and Questions" link located on the city's <br />website homepage at www.cityoframsey.com.
