ORDINANCE #14 -02 <br />CITY OF RAMSEY <br />ANOKA COUNTY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br />AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING AND RATIFYING THE SALE OF CITY REAL <br />ESTATE. <br />The City of Ramsey Ordains: <br />SECTION 1. AUTHORITY <br />The City is authorized to sell real property by ordinance pursuant to Minnesota Statutes, section <br />412.211 and City Charter section 12.5. <br />SECTION 2. PURPOSE <br />It is the purpose of this Ordinance to authorize and ratify the City of Ramsey's conveyance of <br />certain real properties that the Council determined are no longer necessary for the City's purposes. <br />It is in the best interests of the City and its residents to sell the properties on the open market. <br />SECTION 3. SALE AUTHORIZATION AND RATIFICATION <br />The City Council hereby declares the following legally described real properties as surplus <br />property and ratifies the Council's approval on February 11, 2014, concerning the terms and <br />conditions of sale to Homes of Influence, LLC. Said properties are legally described as: <br />That part. of Lot 26, Auditor's Subdivision No. 96, Anoka County, Minnesota, described as: Commencing at the <br />point of intersection of the Northerly line of Rivlyn Ave. as laid out in the plat of "DICKENSON MISSISSIPPI <br />ESTATE" with the Easterly line of Poplar Drive (now known as Tungsten St. N.W.) as laid out in said plat; thence <br />Southeasterly along the Northerly line of Rivlyn Ave. a distance of 400 feet to a point to be hereafter known as <br />point "C" for the purposes of this description; thence Northeasterly parallel with said Easterly line of Tungsten St. <br />N.W. to a point of intersection with the Southerly line of that parcel of land described in Book 656 of Deeds on Page <br />639, files of the Register of Deeds in and for said Anoka County, and more particularly described as follows: <br />Commencing at the Southeast corner of Lot 13, said Auditors Subdivision No. 96; thence Southerly on an extension <br />Southerly of the Easterly line of said Lot 13 for 260 feet to the actual point of beginning of said Southerly line of <br />said parcel described in Book 656 of Deeds on Page 639; thence Easterly at an interior angle to the Northeast of91 <br />degrees 30 minutes for 427.1 feet along said Southerly line and there terminating; said point of intersection being <br />the actual point of beginning of the tract to be hereby described; thence returning Southwesterly along said parallel <br />line to said point "C "; thence Northwesterly along said Northerly line of Rivlyn Ave. for a distance of 100 feet; <br />thence Northeasterly parallel with said Easterly line of Tungsten St. N.W. to intersect the afore described <br />Southerly line of that parcel described in Book 656 of Deeds on Page 639; thence Easterly along said Southerly line <br />to the point of beginning, Anoka County, Minnesota. <br />And <br />Lot 9, Block 2, Windsorwood, Anoka County, Minnesota <br />Ordinance #14 -02 <br />Page 1 of 2 <br />
