AN AMENDMENT TO CHAPTER 117 OF THE CITY CODE, WHICH CHAPTER IS KNOWN AS <br />ZONING AND SUBDIVISIONS OF THE CITY CODE OF RAMSEY, MINNESOTA <br />AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTIONS 117 -115 (B -2 HIGHWAY BUSINESS DISTRICT) AND <br />117 -120 (H -1 HIGHWAY 10 BUSINESS DISTRICT) OF THE RAMSEY CITY CODE. <br />The City of Ramsey Ordains: <br />SECTION 1 AUTHORITY <br />This ordinance is adopted pursuant to and under the authority of the City Charter of the City of Ramsey. <br />SECTION 2 AMENDMENTS <br />ORDINANCE #14 -10 <br />CITY OF RAMSEY <br />ANOKA COUNTY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br />Section 117 -115 Subd. (d) is amended to ADD the following language: <br />(8) Open and outdoor storage as an accessory use not to exceed 30 percent of the property provided <br />that (this Section takes precedence over other provisions of this Chapter as it relates to this <br />District): <br />a. Storage area may only be located in the side or rear yard. The storage area may not be <br />located in the front yard. <br />b. Storage area is surfaced with concrete or bituminous with continuous B6/12 concrete curb <br />and gutter if located in the side yard. <br />c. Storage area may be surfaced with Class V Gravel in the rear yard only provided that: <br />1. The gravel depth must be at least two (2) inches. <br />2. The storage area must be setback at least 20 feet from public rights of way. <br />3. The storage area must be setback at least 35 feet from adjacent residential <br />properties. <br />4. The gravel surface must be kept free of vegetative cover and routinely maintained. <br />5. The size of the gravel surface may not exceed the size of areas surfaced with <br />concrete or bituminous on the property or 30 percent of the gross lot area, whichever is <br />less. <br />d. Items stored outdoors shall comply with Chapter 30 of the Ramsey City Code entitled <br />Public Nuisances. <br />
