ENVIRONMENTAL POLICY TASK FORCE <br />CITY OF RAMSEY <br /> ANOKA COUNTY <br /> STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> <br />On Thursday, June .19, 2003, the Environmental Policy Task Force met in the City Council <br />Chambers at the Ramsey Fire Station No. 1, 15050 Armstrong Blvd. N.W., Ramsey, Minnesota. <br /> <br />Members Present: <br /> <br />Chairperson Joe McDilda <br />Committee Member Erika Sitz <br />Committee Member Michael Max <br />Committee M ember-MargaretConnolly <br />Committee Member Mike Reeve <br /> <br />Members Absent: <br /> <br />Committee Member Sue Dvorak <br />Park Commission Liaison Michael Rolfe <br />City Council Liaison Sarah Strormr~en <br /> <br />Also Present: <br /> <br />Community Development Director Sylvia Frolik <br />Environmental Specialist Bruce Bacon <br />Parks & Utilities Supervisor Mark Boos <br />Rich Biske, Anoka County Conservation District <br />Steve Kunde, Kunde Company <br /> <br />CALL TO ORDER <br /> <br />Chairperson McDilda called the meeting to order at 6:53 p.m. <br /> <br />APPROVAL OF AGENDA <br /> <br />Consensus was to approve the agenda, consisting of the following: <br /> <br />Presentation by Michael Max of tree inventory for City of Minneapolis <br />Presentation of land cover survey for Ramsey by Rich Biske of Anoka County <br />Conservation District <br /> <br />TASK FORCE BUSINESS <br /> <br />Case #1 Presentation of City of Minneapolis "Inven-Tree" <br /> <br />Mr. Max stated that the City of Minneapolis is doing a census of every street tree in the City and <br />he reviewed the results of that assessment. <br /> <br />Case #2 <br /> <br />Presentation by Rich Biske of Anoka County Conservation District <br /> <br />Mr. Biske p~:esented the results of the land cover survey performed in Ramsey as part of the <br />Metro Greenways grant program. <br /> <br /> <br />
