Councilmember Pearson introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> RESOLUTION 04-01-003 <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION REQUESTING ANOKA COUNTY TO WITHHOLD FROM PUBLIC SALE <br />OF PARCEL 15 32 25 43 0001 <br /> <br />WHEREAS, PEN 15 32 25 43 0001 is legally described as follows: <br /> <br />The south 46 feet of the north 66 feet of the southeast quarter of the southwest quarter of Section <br />15, Township 32, Range 25 lying easterly of CSAH 56, together with the south 46 feet of the <br />north 66 feet of the southwest quarter of the southeast quarter of said sections, subject to <br />easements of record, and; <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the above parcel has been placed on the Classification List Number 2004 by the <br />Board of County Commissioner pursuant to Anoka County Resolution #2003-134, and; <br /> <br />WHEREAS, this parcel consists of a portion of the right-of-way of 159th Avenue. <br /> <br /> NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br />The City of Ramsey hereby requests that Anoka County withhold said parcel fi.om public sale, <br />and; <br /> <br />That the City Administrator is directed to take whatever steps necessary to acquire this parcel for <br />the purpose of City right-of-way. <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember Kurak and <br />upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec <br />Councilmember Pearson <br />Councilmember Kurak <br />Councilmember Cook <br />Councmember Elvig <br />Councilmember Strommen <br /> <br />and the following voted against the same: <br /> <br />none <br /> <br />RESOLUTION 04-01-0003 <br /> lof 2 <br /> <br /> <br />
