PROCEEDINGS OF CITY O0UNCIL <br /> CITY OF RAMSEY <br /> ANOKA COUNTY <br /> STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> <br />The Ramsey City Council conducted a special meeting on Tuesday, March 29, <br />1988 at the Ramsey Municipal Center, 15153 Nowthen Blvd. N.W., Ramsey, <br />Minnesota. <br /> <br />Mambers Present: <br /> <br />Mayor Gary Reimann <br />Councilmember A1 Sorteberg <br />Councilmsmber Steve DeLuca <br />Councilmember Al Pearson <br /> <br />Also Present: <br /> <br />City Administrator David Hartley <br />Merland Otto/HakansonAnderson <br />Michael Stenquist/Ramsey Public Works Department <br /> <br />Members Absent: Councilmember Arnie COx <br /> <br />C~ALL TO ORDER <br /> <br />Mayor Peimann called the special City Council meeting to order at 7:12 p.m. <br />and led in the Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag· <br /> <br />None · <br /> <br />APPROVAL OF AGEhDA <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Sorteberg and seconded by Councilmember DeLuca to <br />approve the agenda with the following addition: <br /> <br />Case #2: Establishment of Tax Increment Districts <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Reimann, Councilmembers Sorteberg, <br />DeLuca and Pearson. Voting No: None. Absent: Councilmember Cox. <br /> <br />COUNCIL BUSINESS <br /> <br />Case #2: E~tabl~shment Of Tax Increment Districts: <br /> <br />Mr. Hartley stated that Ramsey's Bond Cousel is advising that action be <br />taken to modify Development District No. 1 and establish tax increment <br />financing districts to include the Altron property and that property <br />abutting the proposed alignment for the Front Street improvement project. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Sorteberg and seconded by Councilmember Pearson to <br />adopt Resolution #88-55 modifying Development District No. 1 and <br />establishing Tax Increment Financing District No. 2.
