CHARTER COMMISSION <br />CITY OF RAMSEY <br />ANOKA COUNTY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> <br />The Ramsey Charter Commission conducted a meeting on Thursday, September 25, <br />1986 at the Ramsey Municipal Center, 15153 Nowthen Blvd. N.W., Ramsey, <br />Minnesota. <br /> <br />Members Present: <br /> <br />Mr. Dick Sieber, Chairman <br />Ms. Brenda Bauerkemper <br />Mr. Tom Greenberg <br />Mr. John Lichter <br />Mr. Stan Data <br />Mr. Tom Gamec <br /> <br />Also Present: <br /> <br />City Administrator David Hartley <br />City Attorney William Goodrich <br />City Engineer Peter Raatikka <br /> <br />Members Absent: <br /> <br />Mr. Gary Heitman <br />Mr. Roger Buchanan <br />Mr. Curt Titterud <br /> <br />CALL TO ORDER <br /> <br />Chairman Sieber called the meeting to order at 7:45 p.m. <br /> <br />COMMISSION BUSINESS <br /> <br />~ ResiEnation of Commission Member Gary Heitman: <br /> <br />Chairman Sieber stated that Mr. Gary Heitman has resigned from the Commission <br />and City Staff also thinks that terms of Brenda Bauerkemper, Tom Gamec, Tom <br />Greenberg and Curt Titterud are expiring. <br /> <br />Some discussion followed regarding recollection that these persons had already <br />been reappointed to another term; Mr. Goodrich will check to make sure. <br /> <br />Motion by Commissioner Gamec and seconded by Commissioner Lichter to accept the <br />resignation of Mr. Gary Heitman and direct City Staff to advertise the <br />Commission vacancy in the Anoka Union, Anoka Shopper and Ramsey Resident. The <br />ad should specify that applications be forwarded to Ramsey City Hall to the <br />attention of the Ramsey Charter Commission within 30 days of the Ramsey <br />Resident October publication date. The Charter Commission will review, at <br />their December 4, 1986 meeting, the applications and forward same along with a <br />recommendation to the 10th District Judge. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Chairman Sieber, Commissioners Gamec, Lichter, <br />Bauerkemper and Data. Voting No: None.
