ORDINANCE #15-08 <br />CITY OF RAMSEY <br />ANOKA COUNTY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br />AN AMENDMENT TO CHAPTER 117 OF THE CITY CODE, WHICH CHAPTER IS <br />KNOWN AS ZONING AND SUBDIVISIONS OF THE CITY CODE OF RAMSEY, <br />MINNESOTA <br />AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTIONS 117-355 (RESIDENTIAL DEVELOPMENT <br />OFF-STREET PARKING) OF THE RAMSEY CITY CODE <br />The city of Ramsey Ordains: <br />SECTION 1 AUTHORITY <br />This ordinance is adopted pursuant to and under the authority of the City Charter of the City of <br />Ramsey. <br />SECTIN 2 AMENDMENTS <br />Section 117-355 Subsection (B) (2) a. is amended to read as follows: <br />a. On all residential parcels: <br />1. Motor vehicles stored or parked in a side or rear yard shall maintain a setback of <br />at least five (5) feet from the edge of the parking surface to the lot line(s). <br />2. Equipment parked or stored in the side yard shall maintain a setback of at least five <br />(5) feet from the edge of the parking surface to the lot line(s). <br />3. Equipment parked or stored in the rear yard shall maintain a setback of at least five <br />(5) feet from the lot line(s). <br />SECTION 3 SUMMARY <br />The following is the official summary of Ordinance # 15-08, which has been approved by the City <br />Council of the City of Ramsey as clearly informing the public of the intent and effect of the <br />Ordinance. <br />It is the intent and effect of Ordinance #15-08 to amend Ramsey, Minnesota City Code Sections <br />117-355 to: <br />• Eliminate the provision that on properties less than two (2) acres in size, motor vehicles <br />and equipment shall be parked closer to the principal structure than the lot line. <br />• Eliminate the provision that on properties two (2) acres or greater in size, motor vehicles <br />and equipment shall maintain a 15 foot setback from the lot line. <br />C)rdinance .415-08 <br />Page 1 of 2 <br />
