PLANNING A~ ZONIS~S COMMISSION <br />CITY OF RAMSEY <br /> ANOKA COUNTY <br /> STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> <br />The Ramsey Planning and Zoning Commission conducted a special meeting on <br />Tuesday, May 17, 1988 at the Ramsey Municipal Center, 15153 Nowthen Blvd. <br />N.W., Ramsey, Minnesota to continue business from the May 3, 1988 agenda° <br /> <br />Members Present: <br /> <br />Mr. Gerald Zimmerman, Chairman <br />Mr. Michael Terry <br />Mr. Terry Hendriksen <br />Mr. Charles LaDue <br />Mr. Jim Holm <br />Mr. Roy Shumway <br /> <br />Also Present: Community Development Director Anne Norris <br /> <br />Members Absent: Mr. Jim Howell <br /> <br />CALL TO ORDER <br /> <br />Chairman Zimmerman called the special Planning and Zoning Commission <br />meeting to order at 8:03 p.m. <br /> <br />CITIZEN INPU~ <br /> <br />None. <br /> <br />COMMISSION BUSINESS <br /> <br />Case ~9: R.~quest For Metes And Bounds Subdivision: Case .Of...Mr. Je~ry <br /> ~Noller: <br /> <br />Mr. Noller stated that per the Commission's direction, he approached the <br />property owner to the north regarding converting the private easement <br />through his property into a public road to serve the three lots Mr. Noller <br />is proposing to develop. Mr. Noller stated that the property owner to the <br />north is not interested in developing a public road through his property. <br />Mr. Noller stated that he is revising his request to subdivide his 30 acre <br />parcel into two lots to be developed at some time in the future and to be <br />accessed by the existing single private easement; that private access would <br />be developed into a public access at the time the parcel to the north <br />develops with public roads. <br /> <br />Ms. Norris noted that in 1983, the subject property was granted a variance <br />to build one residential structure on the property with the condition that <br />no further subdivision of the property would be permitted unless each <br />buildable parcel had direct access to a public street. <br /> <br />Motion by Commissioner LaDue and seconded by Commissioner Shumway to deny <br /> Planning and Zoning/May 17, 1988 <br /> <br />Page 1 of 6 <br /> <br /> <br />
