PA~K AND RECREATION COMMISSION CITY OF P~MSEY ANOKA COUNTY MINNESOTA The Ramsey Park and Recreation Commission conducted a regular meeting on Thursday, August 14, 1986 at the Ramsey Municipal Center, 15153 Nowthen Boulevard N.W., Ramsey, Minnesota. Members Present: John Lichter, Acting Chairman (arrived 7:13 p.m.) Bill Rustad Janic e Johnson Ron Hetland Marleen Looyen Don Lokker Also Present: Merle Mevissen, Public Works Superintendent Anne Norris, Community Development Director CALL TO ORDER Commission~Johnson called the meeting to order at 7:12 p.m. ~ROVAL OF PARK AND RECREATION COMMISSION MEETING MINUTES Motion by Commissioner Hetland and seconded by Commissioner Rustad to approve the regular Park and Recreation Commission meeting minutes dated July 17, 1986. Motion carried unanimously. (Note: At 7:13 p.m., Acting Chairman Lichter arrived at the meeting.) Acting Chairman Lichter inquired about the May meeting minutes and requested that they be included in the September agenda. NQ%~ CI%"f COUNCIL MEETING MINUTES The Commission noted the following: 1. Special City Council meeting minutes dated July 15, 1986. 2. Regular City Council meeting minutes dated July 22, 1986. COMMISSION BUSINESS Case#l: Appointment of New Chairman for Commission Acting Chairman Lichter stated that he doesn't work in the City and is not available; he suggested that another member be Chairman as he can't always attend the meetings. The Commission agreed by consensus to table this item to the next meeting; in the meantime, each member is to consider his/her time and availability. Case #2: Review Northfork P.U.D. Re_~ardin_~ Park Dedication Requirements Merland Otto, Hakanson Anderson Associates, Inc., reviewed the various factors that he considered when proposing trail and park alignments in Northfork -
