PARK AND RECREATION COMMISSION <br /> CITY OF RAMSEY <br /> ANOKA COUNTY <br /> STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> <br />A regular meeting of the Park and Recreation Commission was held on Thursday, <br />April 18, 1985 at the Ramsey Municipal Center, 15153 Nowthen Blvd. N.W., <br />Ramsey, Minnesota. <br /> <br />Members Present: <br /> <br />Members Absent: <br />Also Present: <br /> <br />Ms. Janice Johnson <br />Mr. Bill Rustad <br />Mr. Ron Hetland <br />Mr. Don Lokker <br />Ms. Marleen Looven <br /> <br />Mr. Dennis Donova, Chairman <br /> <br />Ms. Claudia Dodge, Ramsey Community School Coordinator, <br />Mr. Merle Mevissen, Street Superintendent. <br /> <br />CALL TO ORDER <br /> <br />Mr. Lokker called the regular meeting to order at 7:00 p.m. <br /> <br />NO CITIZEN INPUT <br /> <br />APPROVAL OF AGENDA <br /> <br />Agenda approved by consent. <br /> <br />APPROVAL OF MINUTES <br /> <br />Change in the March 20th minutes, Lokker present, Lichter absent. <br />to approve minutes with changes by Johnson seconded by Lokker, approved <br />unanimously. <br />City Council minutes duly noted. <br /> <br />PARK BOARD BUSINESS <br /> <br />Case #1: Softball Tournament Monies <br /> <br />It was decided the tournament monies would be put into the park general fund. <br />Motion made by Hetland and seconded by Lichter, motion carried. <br /> <br />Case #2: Fraternal Park Day <br /> <br />It was decided that base boxes would be built with the money donated by <br />Lutheran Brotherhood. <br /> <br />A lighting system for Central Park was also discussed. Per the City Council <br />meeting, there will not be a lighting system in Central Park. A motion was <br />made by Lichter to have a lighting system for spring and fall sports, seconded <br />by Lokker, motion carried. <br /> <br />Motion <br /> <br /> <br />
