City of Pamsey Parks & Recreation Commission <br /> Minutes of Meeting <br /> July 21, 1976 <br /> <br />Present: <br /> <br />Fred Ritchie~ Ken~Peterson, Kathy Schneider~ John Zo~ova <br />9obert Cushman~ Leonard Vereeken. . <br /> <br />MeetinE was called to order at 7:55 P.M. Minutes of June 25, 1976 <br />were approved as read. <br /> <br />It was pointed out that a vacancy on the Commission still exists° <br />Ken Peterson made a motion that any interes~dapplicants should be <br />invited to the August 19th meeting. Seconded by Leonard Vereekeno <br />All in favor. <br /> <br />CapitD1 Improvements: Fred Ritchie made a motion that the Commission <br />make a recommendation to the City Council for them to approve the <br />following expenditures within the framework of the appropiate bidding <br />and contractual proceedures: <br /> <br />Ag. Lime for diamond at school -100 Ton ~ $2.50/ ton plus delivery <br />Warming House for hockey Fink - 5 requests, 2 reply - lowest $5~940o00 <br />Flooding apparatus (using School well)- Tim will supply figures. <br />Lighting for rink - 3 requests ~ I reply- Gopher Electric - $3500.00 <br />Railroad ties for Brookview -- !t384.00 including tax, cutting~ delivery. <br /> <br />Seconded by Ken Peterson. All in favor. <br /> <br />Comprehensive Plan: Fred Ritchie made a motion that we recommend that <br />the City Council approve the necessary expenditures to print and mail <br />a questionaire to the residents regarding their-opinions and idea to <br />assist in the Comprehensive Plan. Seconded by Ken Peterson. All in favor. <br /> <br />Mr. Cushman will have copies of the Coon Rapids Comprehensive Plan made <br />available for the members. This is tb~'~be read by August 4tho <br />Discussion regarding proceedure on plan followed. <br /> <br />Leonard Vereeken made a motion to adjourn. Seconded by Bob Cushman. <br />Meeting adjourned 9:40 P.M. <br /> <br /> <br />
