PROCEEDINGS OF CITY COUNCIL <br /> CITY OF RAMSEY <br /> ANOKA COUNTY <br /> STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> <br />A special meeting of the Ramsey City Council was held on Tuesday, August 31, <br />1982 at the Ramsey Municipal Center, 15153 Nowthen Blvd. N.W., Ramsey, <br />Minnesota. <br /> <br />Members Present: <br /> <br />Mayor Thomas Gamec <br />Councilmember Sue Van Wagner <br />Councilmember Arnie Cox <br />Councilmember Gary Reimann <br />Councilmember A1 Sorteberg (arrived at 8:30 P.M.) <br /> <br />Also Present: <br /> <br />City Administrator Lloyd Schnelle <br />City Attorney William Goodrich <br />Reporter Eric Sandin <br /> <br />Others Present: <br /> <br />Jeanne Schlueter <br />Marilyn Gallagher <br />Howard Carson <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec called the special meeting of the Ramsey City Council to order at <br />7:41 P.M. and led in the Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag. <br /> <br />The special meeting of the Ramsey City Council adjourned at 7:41 P.M. in order <br />to hold the following public hearing: <br /> <br />1. Proposed Use of Revenue Sharing <br /> <br />The special meeting of the Ramsey City Council was called back to order at <br />7:43 P.M. <br /> <br />Upgrading of County Road #56: <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Cox and seconded by Councilmember Reimann to adopt <br />Resolution #82-122 to commend County Commissioner Ed Fields, Anoka County <br />Highway Department and all others involved with the upgrading of County Road <br />#56, for the impressive manner in which the project was carried out, especially <br />allowing for traffice flow during construction. (Please refer to resolution <br />file for Resolution #82-122). <br /> <br />Further Discussion: Mayor Gamec stated that there were a few complaints, but <br />generally, the people in the area are very satisfied. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Gamec, Councilmembers Van Wagner, Reimann <br />and Cox. Voting No: None. Absent: Councilmember Sorteberg. <br /> <br />Acquisition of Right of Way from St. Highway #47 to Sunfish Lake Blvd.: <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Cox and seconded by Councilmember Reimann to request <br />the County to follow up on their original position to obtain the right-of-way <br />on Industrial Blvd. from Highway #47 to Sunfish Lake Blvd. <br /> <br />Motion carried.
