PARK AND RECREATION COMMISSION <br /> Meeting of January 20, 1983 <br /> <br />Members Present: Dennis Donovan, Janice Johnson, Bill Rustad, John Lichter, <br /> Ron Hetland and Don Lokker <br /> <br />Members Absent: Terry McLean <br /> <br />Others Present: Jean Schlueter, Myrna Stroschein <br /> <br />The meeting was called to order at 7:05 p.m. The minutes of the December 9, 1982 <br />meeting were approved on a motion by Commissioner Johnson and a second by Commis- <br />sioner Rustad. <br /> <br />Chairman Donovan reported that Federal Cartridge is now taking action to deed the <br />property under consideration to the City. City Attorney Goodrich is negotiating <br />with Federal Cartridge on this matter at the present. <br /> <br />Ms. Myrna Stroschein indicated that the Ramsey School Advisory Committee is looking <br />to form an ad hoc advisory committee to revise and improve the creative play area <br />at Ramsey Elementary School. The committee will meet with other school officials <br />to review other facilities. Funding at present is not defined but participation <br />by the school district, City and public service groups is anticipated. Commissioner <br />Lichter and Commissioner Hetland volunteered to serve on the ad hoc committee as <br />needed. <br /> <br />No new information is available on the proposed park at County Road 116 and State <br />Highway 47. <br /> <br />The meeting adjourned at 7:25 p.m. <br /> <br />Respectfully submitted, <br /> <br />John Lichter <br />Secretary <br /> <br /> <br />
