The motion carried.

Mr. Oren Lemke, Mr. Dan Fouts, and Mr. Kirk Ziegler appeared to give the Park
Commission a presentation on the proposed Ramsey River Park. This park would
be located on the land that was donated to the City. This land lies east of
County Road #47 and Industrial Blvd. on the Rum River. The park would consist
of ball diamonds, camping areas, football fields and a club house. Mr. Lemke
and company would develop this project at no cost to the City. The City would
lease the club house land back to Mr. Lemke. The Park Commission will take
this project under advisement. We also advised the three gentlemen to present
their project to the Ramsey Planning and Zoning Commission.

The Park Commission ~hen heard from Mr. Gary Kryier who lives east of Brookview
Park. He had many complaints of noise and letters from parties in the Park
and people trespassing on his land. The Commission also heard from Mr. Lynn
Bohand who lives next to Brookview Park with the same problems. Police Chief
Michael Auspos was also present and told the two gentlemen that there were
park curfews and that beer drinking is not allowed in Ramsey parks. He also
told them that he would do all he could to enforce the laws. The Park Commission-
members suggested that a fence of some type be erected around the park to
identify boundaries and that signs be posted with park hours and laws. The
Park Commission will take this matter before the Ramsey City Council.

The meeting was adjourned at 9:38 p.m.

Respectfully submitted,

Terry McLean
Acting Secretary
