PARK AND RECREATION C01~ISSION <br />Regular Meeting of May 21, 1981 <br /> <br />Members Present: John Lichter, Dennis Donovan, Don Lokker <br /> <br />Other Present: Ron Hetland <br /> <br />The meeting was called to order at 7:03 P.M. The Commission discussed <br />how capital improvements should be handled in light of the recent bond <br />issue defeat. (5/5/81). It was recommended that this year's capital <br />budget be cormmitted to existing facilities improvement. John Lichter <br />suggested that we follow up with Councilman Cox's suggestion at the <br />public hearing on the bond issue and request excess snow plowing funds <br />for park improvement. <br /> <br />Ron Hetland of 6371 - 164th Lane NW applied for the vacant position on <br />the Park Commission. After some discussion with Mr. Hetland, it was <br />moved by Dennis Donovan, seconded by Don Lokker and approved unanimously <br />to recommend Mr. Hetland for appointment by the council. <br /> <br />The meeting was adjourned at approximately 8:15 P.M. <br /> <br />Respectfully submitted, <br /> <br />John Lichter, <br />Secretary <br /> <br /> <br />
