PARK & RECREATION COMMISSION <br /> <br /> CITY OF RAMSEY <br /> ANOKA COUNTY <br /> <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> <br />A regular meeting of the Ramsey Park and Recreation Commission was held <br />on November 22, 1979, at the Ramsey Municipal Center, 15153 Nowthen <br />Boulevard N.W., Ramsey, Minnesota. <br /> <br />Members Present: Dennis Donovan Also Present: <br /> Terry McLean <br /> Sam Wal z <br /> Dick Swanson <br /> Greg Drake ~ ~ <br /> <br />Approval of Minutes <br /> <br />City Mayor Tom Gamec <br />Jan Cinquina, Wehrman, <br /> Chapman & Assoc. <br /> <br />The minutes of the October Park & Recreation Commission were read and <br />approved. <br /> <br />The Park & Recreation Commission reviewed the Comprehensive Park Plan with <br />Mrs. Cinquina, in regard to updating the Comprehensive Plan for the City <br />of Ramsey . <br /> <br />A discussion was held concerning cemeteries. <br /> <br />All the parks were reviewed and assigned to specific park members. A <br />list of assigned parks will follow. <br /> <br />Discussed bond issue or referendum for park improvements. <br /> <br />A special meeting was scheduled for November 27th at 7:00 P.M. <br /> <br />Motion by Walz and seconded by Johnson to request that the City send <br />a letter to the LAWCON agency regarding 'Urants" because R~msey did not <br />get 75 percent funding and therefor we are withdrawing Our application. <br /> <br />Motion carried. <br /> <br />Motion by Walz and seconded by Donovan to adjourn. <br /> <br />Mee ting adjourned. <br /> <br />Respectfully submitted, <br /> <br />Dick Swanson and Mayor Gamec <br /> <br /> <br />
