PARK AND RECREATION COMMISSION
SPECIAL MEETING OF MARCH 29, 1979

The meeting was called to order at 7:05 P.M.

Members present: Sam Walz, Dennis Donovan, John Lichter, Mike Haller

Others present: Linda Zimmerman, Sandy Zimmerman, Ken Niles, Tom
Geskermann, Tim Knaeble

Tom Geskermann and Tim Knaeble presented the conceptual plan prepared by
them and Kathy Gustafson for Titterud Park. Proposed improvements were
discussed together with the need to relocate the existing horse arena.
It was suggested that the Commission members meet with Ken Niles at
Traprock Park. It was generally agreed that this park would be the
logical long term site for the horse arena.

A motion to accept the conceptual plan and present it to Council was made
by Lichter seconded by Walz and approved unanimously.

The Commission secretary was directed to prepare a letter of thanks to the
University students for their excellent work on the park plan.

The meeting was adjourned at 8:05 P.M.

Respectfully submitted,

John Lichter
