C~ity of Ramsey Park Board <br /> <br />Minutes of Meeting <br />December 2, 1974 <br /> <br />· Present: Jack Schneider, Kathy Schneider, Jack Zoba~a, Bob Zelenak, <br /> Bob Mulle~. The meeting was called to ordsr at 7:00P.M. <br /> <br />Mr. & Mrs. Bray and Gall Czech were present to explain the <br />Community School plan for Ramsey and request the support of the <br />Board. The Park Board thanked them for attending, however, suggested <br />this matter be presented to the City Council for further action. <br /> <br />2. The balance in the budget of ~3,307.35 was discussed. It was agreed <br /> that Ken Peterson would be responsible each month for contacting <br /> the Treasurer to obtain the present balance. <br /> <br />3. The minutes of October 8 were read and approved. <br /> <br />Mr. Jack Zobava & Mr. Bob Zelenak mentioned that they found it <br />difficult discussing parks that they have no prior knowledge of. <br />It was decided that maps be issued of the City to all members not <br />already owning one. Also, the Board planned to meet at the hall <br />to examine maps of finai plats to obtain further information on <br />each park. At a date to be set at the next meeting the Park Board <br />members will divide the parks and each member ~,~11 be assigned <br />certain parks to visit noting the following: General shape~ size, <br />condition, existing use and equipment, possible future use and <br />equipment, e~timate of population having direct access to park. <br />All findings will be made available to each member.~ ~ <br /> <br />Mr. Jack Schneider suggested that in the future all items of business <br />appear on an a~enda. Ail items must be submitted to the secretary <br />one week prior to meeting and a cspy made availabe to each member <br />st least three days prior to meeting. This was acceptable to all <br />members. <br /> <br />Jack Schneider mentioned that to his knowledge the grading requested <br />on the work orders submitted by Him~and Mr. Moriarity was never taken <br />care of. As'a result the same problem of getting equipment on the ice <br />to remove snow at Paltzer would still be present. KathY Schneider was <br />to ask Mrs. Guy tol have someone in maintenance see about getting this <br />access taken care of. Also, the City should see about hiring someone <br />to keep Peltzer flooded and cleared this winter. <br /> <br />7. The meeting was adjourned at 9:00 P.M. <br /> <br /> <br />
