FINANCE COMMITTEE <br />CITY OF RAMSEY <br />ANOKA COUNTY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> <br />The Ramsey Finance Committee conducted a regular meeting on Tuesday, January 13, 2004, at <br />the Ramsey Fire Station Number I, 15050 Armstrong Boulevard NW, Ramsey, Minnesota. <br /> <br />Members Present: <br /> <br />Chairperson David Elvig <br />Mayor Gamec (alternate) <br />Councilmember Sarah Strommen <br /> <br />Member Absent: <br /> <br />Councilmember Gerald Zimmerman (absent) <br /> <br />Also Present: <br /> <br />City Administrator James Norman <br />Finance Officer Diana Lund <br />Assistant Director of Public Works Brian Olson <br />Parks/Utilities Supervisor Mark Riverblood <br /> <br />CALL TO ORDER <br /> <br />Chairperson Elvig called the regular meeting of the Finance Committee t° order at 6:14 p.m. <br /> <br />CITIZEN INPUT <br /> <br />There was nolle. <br /> <br />COMMITTEE BUSINESS <br /> <br />Case #1: Adopt Resolution Approving the City of Ramsey's 2005 Budget Calendar <br /> <br />Finance Officer Lund explained that every year the City needs to adopt a resolution approving the <br />City's 2005 budget calendar. <br /> <br />Councilmember Elvig stated that the schedule indicates that the preliminary budget will be <br />presented to the Finance Committee on July 27th and then there are no additional meetings <br />scheduled until September. He questioned if it would be possible to add another meeting mid to <br />late August to address any questions the Council may have on the budget before they take action <br />on it in September. <br /> <br />Finance Officer Lund replied that she will add a meeting to the schedule that will be held mid to <br />late August at a Council work session. <br /> <br />Finance Committee/January 13, 2004 <br /> Page 1 of 4 <br /> <br /> <br />
