SPECIAL MEETING OF RAMSEY CITY COUNCIL <br /> January 29, 1975 <br /> <br />The meeting was called to order by the Mayor, Mr. Cox, at lO:&O <br />p.m. Present were Mr. Gorham, Mr. Reimann, Mr. Mickelson and <br />Mrs. Oliphant. <br /> <br />Mr. Gorham and Mr. Micketson had interviewed the applicants for <br />the secretarial position. They had decided on Donna Nelson. <br />They recommended the City Council approve the employment of Mrs. <br />Donna Nelson, 2133 l&Oth Lane N.W., Anoka, Minn., at a salary <br />of $520 per month, as a secretary to assist the Building Inspec- <br />tor/Assessor and the Clerk; payable by the County until June of <br />1975; with the understanding thatthe above compensation is to <br />cover the cost of health insurance and that in the event the <br />City adopts a program under which insurance benefits would be <br />paid by the City after June of 1975 or some time in the future <br />and before salary is renegotiated, that the amount contributed <br />by the County would be deducted from the above compensation pro- <br />gram; with overtime paid at time and a half or taken off as com- <br />pensatory time. Mr. Reimann moved we accept the foregoing re- <br />commendation. Seconded by Mr. Mickelson. Motion carried unani- <br />mously. <br /> <br />Mr. Cox read the letter from Mr. Sha which we are sending to the <br />Metropolitan Waste Control Commission. There were many items we <br />objected to in the Metropolitan Waste Control Commission facili- <br />ties planning report. Mr. Reimann moved we submit this answer <br />to the Metropolitan Waste Control Commission,s facilities plan- <br />ning report at the public hearing at Brooklyn Park on January <br />30, 1975 at 7:30 p.m. Seconded by Mrs. Oliphant. Motion car- <br />ried. <br /> <br />Mr. Reimann moved the meeting be adjourned. <br />elson.
