SPECIAL MEETING OF RAMSEY CITY COUNCIL January 29, 1975 The meeting was called to order by the Mayor, Mr. Cox, at lO:&O p.m. Present were Mr. Gorham, Mr. Reimann, Mr. Mickelson and Mrs. Oliphant. Mr. Gorham and Mr. Micketson had interviewed the applicants for the secretarial position. They had decided on Donna Nelson. They recommended the City Council approve the employment of Mrs. Donna Nelson, 2133 l&Oth Lane N.W., Anoka, Minn., at a salary of $520 per month, as a secretary to assist the Building Inspec- tor/Assessor and the Clerk; payable by the County until June of 1975; with the understanding thatthe above compensation is to cover the cost of health insurance and that in the event the City adopts a program under which insurance benefits would be paid by the City after June of 1975 or some time in the future and before salary is renegotiated, that the amount contributed by the County would be deducted from the above compensation pro- gram; with overtime paid at time and a half or taken off as com- pensatory time. Mr. Reimann moved we accept the foregoing re- commendation. Seconded by Mr. Mickelson. Motion carried unani- mously. Mr. Cox read the letter from Mr. Sha which we are sending to the Metropolitan Waste Control Commission. There were many items we objected to in the Metropolitan Waste Control Commission facili- ties planning report. Mr. Reimann moved we submit this answer to the Metropolitan Waste Control Commission,s facilities plan- ning report at the public hearing at Brooklyn Park on January 30, 1975 at 7:30 p.m. Seconded by Mrs. Oliphant.
