SPECIAL MEETING CITY OF RAMSEY COUNCIL December 27, 1974 The meeting was called to order by the Mayor, Mr. Cox, at 7:30 p.m. Present were Mr. Gotham, Mr. Reimann, Mr. Mickelson, and Mrs. Oliphant. Mr. Goodrich and Mr. Steffens were also present. Mr. Reimann moved we accept this State Aid road map and forward it to the State of Minnesota Commissioner of Highways. Seconded by Mr. Mickelson. Motion carried unanimously. Mr. Gorhammoved we write a letter to Mr. Jerich stating that the Council would like to thank him for his donation and that they would like to see him donate it to the Park Fund and tag it for the Community School summer program-or youth program activities and at this time we will put this on the agenda for the March meet- ing. Mr. Reimann seconded the Motion. Motion carried unanimously. Mr. Gorham moved to table the Community School program until the March Council meeting. Seconded by Mr. Reimann. Motion carried unanimously. Mr. Reimann moved we pass an ordinance to waterproof basements and tile around basements by the recommendation of the building inspector. Seconded by Mr. Gotham. Percolation tests? Mr. Rei- mann withdrew his motion. Mr. Gorham withdrew his second to the motion. Mrs. Oliphant moved we charge $3.00 for assessment search. Sec- onded by Mr. Reimann. Motion carried. Mrs. Oliphant, Mr. Reimann, and Mr. Gotham voted yes. Mr. Cox and Mr. Mickelson voted no. Mrs. Oliphant moved we release the bond on the Gorham's Sandy Acres plat. Seconded by Mr. Reimann. Mrs. Oliphant, Mr. Reimamu, Mr. Cox, and Mr. Nickelson voted yes. Mr. Gotham abstained from voting. Motion carried. Mrs. Oiiphant moved we allocate $40.00 for the fee to send the new building inspector to the building inspectors convention at the Radisson on Jan. 6, 7, and-8. Seconded by Mr. Gorham. Motion car- ried unanimously~ Mr. Reimann moved we adjourn the meeting. Seconded by Mr. Nickel- son. Motion carried unanimously. Meeting adjourned at 10:$5 p.m. Res ectfully u tted, Clerk ~
