ORDINANCE #04-19 <br /> <br />CITY OF RAMSEY <br />ANOKA COUNTY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> <br />AMENDMENT TO CHAPTER 9 OF THE CITY CODE, WHICH CHAPTER IS <br />KNOWN AS THE ZONING AND SUBDIVISION OF LAND CHAPTER OF THE CITY <br />CODE <br /> <br />Thc City of Ramsey ordains: <br /> <br />SECTION I. AUTHORITY <br /> <br />This ordinance is adopted pursuant to and under the authority of the charter of the City of <br />Ramsey. <br /> <br />SECTION 2. AMENDMENTS <br /> <br />Section 9.20.26 (Mixed Use - Planned Unit Development (MU-PUD) Subd. 1 Intent is hereby <br />amended to read as follows: <br /> <br />Thc intent of the Mixed Use Planned Unit Development (MU-PUD) District is to provide a range <br />of retail and service commercial, office, and residential uses that are organized and planned in a <br />comprehensive manner. The MU-PUD District is created for development seeking alternative <br />development regulations that embody more traditional neighborhood design (TND) principles to <br />promote a better integration of uses that might typically be separated and to provide for an <br />adequate mixture of commercial and residential uses and in no case shall a development contain <br />more than 75% of one use. <br /> <br />SECTION 3. SUMMARY <br /> <br />The following official summary of Ordinance #04-19 has been approved by the City Council of <br />the City of Ramsey as clearly informing the public of the intent and effect of the Ordinance. <br /> <br />It is the intent mid effect of Ordinance #04-19 to amend Ramsey City Code Chapter 9 (Zoning <br />and Subdivision) to amend the percentage of required residential uses within the MU-PUD <br />district. <br /> <br />SECTION 4. EFFECTIVE DATE <br /> <br />The effective date of this ordinance is thirty (30) days after its passage and publication, subject <br />to City Charter Section 5.07. <br /> <br />Ordinance #04-19 <br />Page 1 of 2 <br /> <br /> <br />
