PROCEEDINGS OF THE CITY COUNCIL CITY OF RAMSEY ANOKA COUNTY STATE OF MINNESOTA A regular meeting of the Ramsey City Council was held on February 12, 1980, at the Ramsey Municipal Center, 15153 Nowthen Boulevard N.W., Ramsey, MN 55303 Members Present: Mayor Gamec Councilman Cox Councilman Mickelson Councilman Reimann Councilman Sorteberg Also Present: City Adm. Schnelle City Attorney Goodrich Mayor Gamec called the meeting to order at 7:30 P.M., and led the Pledge of ^.ll. egiance to the Flag. CITIZEN INPUT Loren Leininger, of M & L Liquors, was present at the meeting to inquire about changing the hours that the off-sale intoxicating liquor store may be open. Mayor Gamec commented that he could understand that it would be important for their liquor store to be open until 10:00 P.M., on Friday night to be competitive with the Cities of Elk River and Anoka liquor stores. This item was placed under New Business on the Agenda. There was no further citizen input. APt~ROVAL OF AGENDA Motion by Councilman Cox and seconded by Councilman Mickelson to approve the Agenda with the addition of M & L Liquors, changing of liquor store operation hours. And, that Mr. Jerich, of Midwestern Underground may be present to discuss his site plan building desigrlrequest. Motion carried. Voting yes: Mayor Gamec, Councilmen Cox, Mickelson, Reimann and Sorteberg. Voting no: None. API'ROVAI, O17 COUNCIL MINUTES OF JANUARY 22, 1980 The fol.[owing corrections were made: Page 4, /4th paragraph from the bottom of the page is to be deleted. The paragraph reads as follows: Midwestern Underground (exterior of the building) is to face the proposed building with 100%, as per City Code, in something that doesn't look like metal. Page 9, regarding the Resolution to Ed Fields, County Commissioner, the third sentence should read "Creation of Industrial Boulevard which now serves as a major thorough fare and his efforts toward the Rum River Bridge Crossing" Cp/a'~eeb1. 12, 1980
