PROCEEDINGS OF THE CITY COUNCIL <br /> <br /> CITY OF RAMSEY <br /> ANOKA COUNTY <br /> STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> <br />A regular meeting of the Ramsey City Council was held on February 12, 1980, <br />at the Ramsey Municipal Center, 15153 Nowthen Boulevard N.W., Ramsey, MN <br />55303 <br /> <br />Members Present: <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec <br />Councilman Cox <br />Councilman Mickelson <br />Councilman Reimann <br />Councilman Sorteberg <br /> <br />Also Present: <br /> <br />City Adm. Schnelle <br />City Attorney Goodrich <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec called the meeting to order at 7:30 P.M., and led the Pledge <br />of ^.ll. egiance to the Flag. <br /> <br />CITIZEN INPUT <br /> <br />Loren Leininger, of M & L Liquors, was present at the meeting to inquire about <br />changing the hours that the off-sale intoxicating liquor store may be open. <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec commented that he could understand that it would be important <br />for their liquor store to be open until 10:00 P.M., on Friday night to be <br />competitive with the Cities of Elk River and Anoka liquor stores. <br /> <br />This item was placed under New Business on the Agenda. <br /> <br />There was no further citizen input. <br /> <br />APt~ROVAL OF AGENDA <br /> <br />Motion by Councilman Cox and seconded by Councilman Mickelson to approve <br />the Agenda with the addition of M & L Liquors, changing of liquor store operation <br />hours. And, that Mr. Jerich, of Midwestern Underground may be present to <br />discuss his site plan building desigrlrequest. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting yes: Mayor Gamec, Councilmen Cox, Mickelson, Reimann <br />and Sorteberg. Voting no: None. <br /> <br />API'ROVAI, O17 COUNCIL MINUTES OF JANUARY 22, 1980 <br /> <br />The fol.[owing corrections were made: <br /> Page 4, /4th paragraph from the bottom of the page is to <br /> be deleted. The paragraph reads as follows: Midwestern <br /> Underground (exterior of the building) is to face the proposed <br /> building with 100%, as per City Code, in something that doesn't <br /> look like metal. <br /> <br />Page 9, regarding the Resolution to Ed Fields, County Commissioner, <br />the third sentence should read "Creation of Industrial Boulevard <br />which now serves as a major thorough fare and his efforts <br />toward the Rum River Bridge Crossing" <br /> Cp/a'~eeb1. 12, 1980 <br /> <br /> <br />
