CITY OF RAMSEY ANOKA COUNTY STATE OF MINNESOTA A regular meeting of the Ramsey City Council was held on March 12~ 19Y9 at the Ramsey Municipal Center, 15153 Nowthen Blvd. N.W., Ramsey, Minnesota 55303. Present: Mayor Gamec Also Present: Councilman Mickelson Councilman Cox Administrator Schnelle City Engineer Raatikka ABsent: Councilman Reimann Mayor Gamec called the meeting to order at 8:34 P.M. and led in the Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag. APPROVAL OF AGENDA Motion by Councilman Cox and seconded by Councilman Mickelson to approve the agenda with the addition of Grosslein to Old Business. Motion carried. Voting yes Mayor Gamec, Councilmen Mickelson and Cox. Voting no None. CITIZEN INPUT Mayor Gamec read the names of the applicants for the position of Councilper- son. He announced to the people that there would be a decision made at the March 26, 1979 regular Council meeting on the appointment of a new Council- person. City Administrator Schnelle reported to the citizens on the developments for the State Local Aid for the City of Ramsey. He stated they were informed by the legislators of the possibility on reducing the School Aid Formula by increasing the State Local Aid funds but informed the legislators they were at this point only looking at them using the current population figures in- stead of an average figure in their formula. APPROVAL OF COUNCIL MINUTES Motion by Councilman Mickelson and seconded by Councilman Cox to approve the Board of Adjustment hearing dated February 26, 1979 regarding Grosslein Beverage with the following corrections: Page i Paragraph 9 should read: Mr. Bill Dickenson, Jr. stated he couldn't understand the Council's denial of the dentist office by Bob's Country Super Value because of the number of citizens who supported his request. Motion carried. Voting yes Mayor Gamec, Councilmen Mickelson and Cox. Voting no None.
