PROCEEDINGS OF THE CITY COUNCIL <br /> CITY OF RAMSEY <br /> ANOKA COUNTY <br /> STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> <br />A regular meeting of the Ramsey City Council was held on June 25,1979 at <br />the Ramsey Municipal Center, 15153 Nowthen Boulevard N.W., Ramsey, Minnesota <br />55303. <br /> <br />Members Present: <br /> <br />Acting Mayor Reimann <br />Councilman Mickelson <br />Councilman Sorteberg <br /> <br />Others Present: <br /> <br />City Adm. Schnelle <br />City Engineer Sha <br /> <br />Members Absent: <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec <br />Councilman Cox <br /> <br />Acting Mayor Reimann called the regular Council meeting to order at 7:58 P.M. <br /> <br />APPROVAL OF AGENDA <br /> <br />The following was added to the Agenda: Consulting Engineer Diversified firm <br />to discuss their contract with the City for the drainage study, and Titterud <br />Park improvements to be added between Agenda Items 9 & 10 of Council New Business. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilman Sorteberg, seconded by Acting Mayor Reimannto'approve <br />the Agenda with the additions as noted. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting yes: Acting Mayor Reimann, Councilmen Mickelson <br />and Sorteberg. Voting no: None. <br /> <br />CITIZEN INPUT <br /> <br />Mr. Ben Deemer reported that he took his preliminary plat to the County <br />for their review. The County has indicated that after an on-site inspection, <br />they are of the opinion that they will not allow the access of 149th <br />onto CSAH No. 5, however, he has nothing definite to date but is concerned <br />that this will hold up the development contract and he is anxious to get <br />started. <br /> <br />Councilman Mickelson said he has sited the area and it is a very poor area <br />for an access, <br /> <br />Mr. Deemer reported that the County Engineer also said that it was a bad <br />place for an access due to the poor site line. <br /> <br />Councilman Mickelson said he doesn't feel there is any reason for an <br />access in that location.
