PROCEEDINGS OF THE CITY COUNCIL <br /> CITY OF RAMSEY <br /> ANOKA COUNTY <br /> STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> <br />A regular meeting of the Ramsey City Council was held on September 10, 1979 <br />at Ramsey Municipal Center, 15153 Nowthen Boulevard N.W., Ramsey, FN 55303 <br /> <br />Members Present: <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec <br />Councilman Cox <br />Councilman Mickel son <br />Councilman Re imann <br />Councilman Sorteberg <br /> <br />Others Present' <br /> <br />City Adm. Schnelle <br />City Engr. Raatikka <br />City Atty. Goodrich <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec called the meeting to order at 7:47 P.M. and led the Pledge of <br />Allegiance to the Flag. <br /> <br />APPROVAL OF AGENDA <br /> <br />Motion by Councilman Reimann and seconded by Councilman Sorteberg to approve <br />the Agenda with the addition of the Addendum dated September 10, 1979. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting yes: Mayor Gamec, Councilmen Cox, Mickelson, <br />Reimann and Sorteberg. Voting no: None. <br /> <br />CITIZEN'S INPUT <br /> <br />Mr. Lyle Daugherty, 15157 Yakima Street, reported on parties that have been <br />held reoccurringly in his neighborhood. He is upset due to the noise, debris <br />and general disturbance caused by these Parties. <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec informed him that the City has the police report on the recent <br />party in his neighborhood and another party that occurred at the same time <br />on the same evening. He explained that these situations have to be handled <br />very diplomatically to avoid creating further and more serious problems and <br />that a letter has been sent out to the homeowner informing him of the <br />liability involved and methods of enforcement that the City may take against <br />him if these parties continue to occur. <br /> <br />Mr. McCarthy, 8615 168th Avenue N.W., stated that the homeowner responsible <br />could be taken into court on matters such as this. <br /> <br />There was no further citizen input. <br /> <br />APPROVAL OF MINUTES <br /> <br />PUBLIC HEARING OF AUGUST 27, 1979 REGARDING JACK MENKVELD REZONING REQUEST <br /> <br />Motion by Councilman Reimann and seconded by Councilman Cox to approve the <br />public hearing minutes of August 27, 1979 as received. <br /> <br />Regular Council Meeting <br /> September 10, 1979 <br /> Page 1 <br /> <br /> <br />
