PROCEEDINGS OF THE CITY COUNCIL CITY OF RAMSEY ANOKA COUNTY STATE OF MINNESOTA A regular meeting of the Ramsey City Council was held on September 10, 1979 at Ramsey Municipal Center, 15153 Nowthen Boulevard N.W., Ramsey, FN 55303 Members Present: Mayor Gamec Councilman Cox Councilman Mickel son Councilman Re imann Councilman Sorteberg Others Present' City Adm. Schnelle City Engr. Raatikka City Atty. Goodrich Mayor Gamec called the meeting to order at 7:47 P.M. and led the Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag. APPROVAL OF AGENDA Motion by Councilman Reimann and seconded by Councilman Sorteberg to approve the Agenda with the addition of the Addendum dated September 10, 1979. Motion carried. Voting yes: Mayor Gamec, Councilmen Cox, Mickelson, Reimann and Sorteberg. Voting no: None. CITIZEN'S INPUT Mr. Lyle Daugherty, 15157 Yakima Street, reported on parties that have been held reoccurringly in his neighborhood. He is upset due to the noise, debris and general disturbance caused by these Parties. Mayor Gamec informed him that the City has the police report on the recent party in his neighborhood and another party that occurred at the same time on the same evening. He explained that these situations have to be handled very diplomatically to avoid creating further and more serious problems and that a letter has been sent out to the homeowner informing him of the liability involved and methods of enforcement that the City may take against him if these parties continue to occur. Mr. McCarthy, 8615 168th Avenue N.W., stated that the homeowner responsible could be taken into court on matters such as this. There was no further citizen input. APPROVAL OF MINUTES PUBLIC HEARING OF AUGUST 27, 1979 REGARDING JACK MENKVELD REZONING REQUEST Motion by Councilman Reimann and seconded by Councilman Cox to approve the public hearing minutes of August 27, 1979 as received.
