Officers will be volunteering their time to help Acapulco staff serve you <br />while you dine. A percentage of the dinner proceeds will be donated to Special Olympics. The special general election for Senate District 35 is on Tuesday, February 9. <br />Preliminary testing on all AutoMarks and AccuVotes is being conducted today and tomorrow. The <br />Public Accuracy Test (PAT) has been advertised and is scheduled for 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, <br />February 3. Four of the eight AccuVotes will be re -tested for the PAT. In-person absentee voting <br />for the special general election began on January 15 and will continue through Monday, February <br />8, 2016, closing at 5:00 p.m. City Hall will be open Saturday, February 6 from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 <br />p.m. to accommodate in-person absentee voters as well. The three candidates on the ballot are <br />Roger Johnson, (DFL), Jim Abeler (Rep), Zachary Phelps (Legal Marijuana Now). The City of Ramsey is seeking <br />resident input on how it can improve its rental licensing program. The City is exploring ways to <br />do a better job of protecting and maintaining rental townhomes and rental single-family homes <br />and is considering adding them to the program. The goal is to create a program that can effectively <br />address problem properties, proactively maintain the quality of the City's housing stock and not <br />be burdensome to property owners that have a history of code compliance. The City of Ramsey <br />currently requires multi -family rental units to undergo an inspection every two years. Rental <br />
