Each of the ordinances was discussed in depth
as to their content and at that point the joint Council and Planning
Commission along with staff representatives established sub committees
for further review and possible modification of these ordinance.
The joint committee also spent considerable amount of time considering
the lot size question in the different development regions within
the City. It was noted that the Metropolitan Council's recommendation
was to have five acre lot sizes in the transitional area and four
for forty density controls in the rural area. The committee after
much discussion decided that administratively that the four for forty
would be extremely difficult to handle so it was the consensus of the
committee to propose a minimum lot size of ten acres for the public
hearing and possible implementation.

Meeting adjourned 11:35 p.m.

Respectfully submitted,

Phil D.
