PROCEEDINGS OF TPUE BOARD OF ADJUSTMENT <br /> CITY OF RAMSEY <br /> COUNTY OF ANOKA <br /> STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> <br />A Board of Adjustment was held on May ~ 1978, at the Ramsey Municipal Center, <br />15153 Nowthen Blvd., NW, Ramsey, Minnesota 55303 <br /> <br />PRESENT: <br /> <br />Mayor Cox <br />Councilman Gamec <br />Councilman Mickelson <br />Councilman Muller <br />Councilman Reimann <br /> <br />Also Present: <br /> <br />Attorney Goodrich <br />Engineer Raatikka <br /> <br />~,~ayor Cox called the Board of Adjustment to order at 7:50 P~.M. <br />Mayor Cox led the Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag. <br /> <br />MOTION by Reimann, seconded by Mickelson to nominate Councilman Muller to act <br />as chairman of the Board of Adjustment. 5 Ayes <br /> <br />MOTION by Gamec, seconded by Reimann to nominate Elaine Wilkens to act as <br />transcribing secretary of the Board of Adjustment. <br /> <br />5 Ayes <br /> <br />MOTION by Mayor Cox, seconded by Reimann to keep the fee for a Board of <br />Adjustment at $90.00. <br /> <br />5 Ayes <br /> <br />Mr. Gerald Randall was present on behalf of Mr. Grosslein. He showed the <br />Council a print of the building that Mr. Grosslein is intending to build. <br />A general discussion was held. Mr. Dickenson was present and expressed his <br />concern about the improper drainage on Mr. Grosslein's property. Councilman <br />Muller read a letter from M. L. Anderson, 6224 Rivlyn NW, expressing his <br />concern that the legal notice did not specify to which property line the <br />variance request refers to. Mr. Dickenaon was told that if he had any further <br />questions to see the building inspector, <br /> <br />MOTION by Mayor Cox, seconded by Gamec to adopt Board of Adjustment Resolution 78-7 <br />lis~ng Findings of Fact. <br /> <br />Councilman Gamec withdrew his second, Mayor Cox rescinded his Motion passing <br />Res o~ntion 78-7. <br /> <br />MOTION by Mayor Cox, seconded by Muller to adopt Board of Adjustment Resolu- <br />tion 78-7, whereas, the City of Ramsey,Code, Zoning Chapter requires a 10-foot <br />side yard setback in the B-1 Business District, and whereas, Grosslein Beverages <br />has applied to the City for a variance to said code requirement with regard to <br />Parcel 1520, Plat 89235, which variance request is to permit a building to be <br />constructed within one-foot of the North line of said Parcel 1520, which variance <br />would allow a building to be constructed within one-foot Parcel 1480, and <br /> <br /> <br />
