Center~ 151 53 Nowthen Boulevard N.W., Ramsay, ~,'E~ 55~0~ <br /> <br />l~yor Cox <br />Councilman Gamec <br />CouncJ, lman Mickelson <br />Councilman Muller <br />Councilman Reimann <br /> <br />Also Present: <br /> <br />City Administrator Schne].le <br />Attorney Goodrich <br />Engineer Sha <br /> <br />'M~yor Co~ called the meeting to order at 7:38 p.m. and led the Pledge of <br />A1].eg~ance %o the ~ag. <br /> <br />APPROVAL OF AGEITDA <br /> <br />Motion by Gamec, seconded by Reimann to approve the Agenda for Jhly 24, I978 <br />Council meeting with the a~dition of Citizen's Input and Letters & Communications. <br /> 5 Ayes <br /> <br />CITIZEN'S IN~T <br /> <br />There was no citizen input. <br /> <br />LETTERS & COI"ff'fUNICATIONS <br /> <br />Attorney Goodrich presented a letter from Les Meier of Federal Cartridge <br />Corporation regarding the letter of complaint the City had received previously <br />from ~.fike Kennedy on noise from the Gun. Club. The letter states that they <br />conducted a sound reading study and found 'that the noise created by the gun <br />club is less than the air, automobiles an8 birds, however, the noise is more <br />noticeable recently since large trees were taken down. <br /> <br />Cm~ncil consensus is to sen~ a copy of the letter from Federal Cartridge to <br />the Kennedys an~ a letter to Federal Cartridge asking for a definite p].a~ on <br />tree olantJngs so the City has something tangible on file for future reference. <br /> <br />Mayor Co~ presented the Anoka County Sheriff's Annual Report for 1977. <br />Mr. Schnelle is to confer with the Police Chief and see if he has any co~mments <br />in re~sr5 to this and a letter is to be sent to the Sheriff's Office ackno~.~ledging <br />receipt of the report and e~pressing the City's appreciation for the fine. <br />caoperat:ion we have receive~ from his department. <br /> <br />APPROVAL 0F COUNCIL MINU'I~ES <br /> <br />I o Special Council ~eting of July 10, 1978. <br /> <br />Motion by Muller, seconded by Mickelson to approve the special meeting of <br />July 10, 1978. <br /> <br />2.
