There is still time to purchase a ticket for the 22nd Annual Youth First Community of Promise Mayors' Prayer Breakfast On Friday, April 1, starting at 7:15 am at Lord of Life Church in Ramsey. If you are interested in attending, please RSVP to Kathy Schmitz, at kschmitz@cityoframsey.com, before 4:30 pm on Friday, March 25. Attached to the Weekly Update is a Flyer for the Mayors' Prayer Breakfast. Council Update Highway 10 and Armstrong Boulevard/CR 83 Interchange Construction Update. Construction of the Highway 10 and Armstrong Boulevard interchange project is proposed to be complete in late May or early June. The westbound on-ramp to Highway 10 is now tentatively proposed to be closed to traffic starting April 4th for a period of approximately three weeks. The Llama Street access to Highway 10 is tentatively proposed to be permanently closed to traffic on April 11th. The intersection of Armstrong Boulevard and Sunwood Drive will remain a 4 -way STOP controlled intersection until the traffic signal at the top of the ramps to/from westbound Highway 10 are operational. The median crossover from westbound Highway 10 to Traprock Street will be permanently closed to traffic near the end of construction. Northern Starz Children's Theatre Grand Opening. Northern Starz Children's Theatre is excited to announce their grand opening, scheduled for Saturday, April 9, from 2:00 to 6:00 p.m. at their new location, 5300 Alpine Drive NW, Ramsey. The new theatre space is the first permanent home for this theatre company. At the open house/grand opening, visitors will get to meet some of the cast members, tour the new studio space, enjoy appetizers and learn more about Northern Starz Children's Theatre, a non-profit, educational and community theater. The theatre performers are children from Kindergarten through 12th grade. The press release from Northern Starz talks about the theatre company's history, their past performances, performances they are currently working on as well as thanks the volunteers and sponsors. The City of Ramsey Economic Development Authority (EDA) proudly presents its 8th annual Business Expo, on Saturday, April 16, 2016 from 10:00 a.m. — 2:00 p.m. at The Fountains of Ramsey, 7533 Sunwood Drive NW. Registration for exhibitors in now open! Space is available on a first-come basis, preference is given to businesses located within the City of Ramsey. Registration packets can be found at www.cityoframsey.com/businessexpo and are due by Friday, April 1, 2016. Attached to this Weekly Update is a 2016 EDA Business Expo flyer.
