Mayor and Council candidate filing opens at 8:00 a.m., <br />Tuesday, May 17, 2016. The following four (4) seats will be open for filing: Mayor, <br />Councilmember at Large, Ward 2, and Ward 4. Candidates may file Monday through Friday, 8:00 <br />a.m. to 4:30 p.m. The filing fee is $5. City Hall will be closed on Monday, May 30, 2016 in <br />observance of Memorial Day. Filing closes on Tuesday, May 31, 2016, at 5:00 p.m. Please <br />contact Jo if you have questions at 763-433-9840 orjthieling@cityoframsey.com. <br />Highway 10 and Armstrong Boulevard/CR 83 Interchange Construction Update. <br />Construction of the Highway 10 and Armstrong Boulevard interchange project is scheduled for <br />completion later this month. The signal system at the top of the ramps to/from westbound Highway <br />10 at Armstrong Boulevard/CR 83 will switch from all -way blinking red to fully operational on <br />Friday, May 13th. The signal system at the intersection of Armstrong Boulevard and Sunwood <br />Drive will remain a 4 -way STOP controlled intersection until Monday, May 16th, at which time it <br />will also become fully operational. <br />Rain Barrel and Compost Bin Distribution Event. On Friday, May 20, the City, in partnership <br />with the Recycling Association of Minnesota (RAM), will serve as a distribution site for <br />individuals to pick up their pre -ordered rain barrels and/or compost bins. The event is from 9:00 <br />a.m. to 1:00 p.m. and will be held at the Public Works campus (same location as the recycling <br />event). Questions can be directed to the City Planner at 763-433-9817.
