P&Z-1- <br />4/2/79 <br /> <br /> Planning & Zoning <br /> City of Ramsey <br />County of Anoka <br />State of Minnesota <br /> <br />A regular meeting of the Ramsey City Planning & Zoning Commission was held <br />on April 2, 1979 at Ramsey City Municipal Center, 15153 Nowthen Blvd. N.W. <br />Meeting was called to order by Chairman Ken Peterson at 7:45 with the following <br />in attendance: <br /> <br /> Ken Peterson Also present: Lloyd Schnelle, City Adm. <br /> Kathy Schneider Peter Raatikka, City Eng. <br /> Art Dunn W. Goodrich, City Attorney <br /> Ron West Clayton Berg, Bldg. Official <br />(Gerry Zimmerman arrived 10:30 p.m.) <br /> <br />Approval of Agenda: The following are addded to the agenda: <br />item #12- Critical Rivers~materials. <br />item #13- Jack Menkveld sketch plan. <br /> <br />Citizens Input: Mrs. Herrick asked to be heard regarding a gas station on <br />property located at Hwy #47 and Co. Road #7. Mr. Schnelle explained that <br />the Council had advised that this area be platted. Mrs. Herrick was advised <br />to request time at a later meeting. <br /> <br />Mr. St. Hilaire was present asking about a conditional use permit for his <br />property on Nowthen Blvd to do body work Mr. St. Hilaire was advised to <br />request a public hearing for May7th. <br /> <br />Mr. Darrell Voss was present regarding a parcel of land located off of a cul-de-sac <br />on 169th Lane. Mr. Voss was added to the agenda. <br /> <br />~proval of Minutes: <br />Motion by Art Dunn, seconded by Kathy Schneider to approve the minutes of the <br />special meeting of 3/8/79.~ Motion carried 3-0. Ron West abstained. <br /> <br />Motion by Ken Peterson, seconded by Art Dunn to approve the minutes of the reg- <br />ular meeting of 3/5/79 as read. Motion carried 3-0. Ron West abstained. <br /> <br />Motion by Art Dunn, seconded by Ken Peterson to approve the minutes of the Public <br />Hearing of 3/5/79 as read '(DiemertIII). Motion carried 3-0 Ron West abstained. <br /> <br />Motion by Kathy Schneider, seconded by Ken Peterson to approve the minutes of <br />the Public Hearing on Flintwood II on 3/5/79 as read. Motion carried 3-0. <br />Ron West abstained. <br /> <br />Motion byArt Dunn, seconded by Kathy Schneider to approve the minutes of the <br />Public Hearing on Oakridge Estates of 3/5/79 as read. Motion carried 3-0. <br />Ron West abstained. <br /> <br />Motion by Kathy Schneider, seconded by Art Dunn to approve the minutes of the <br />s~ecial meeting of 2/27/79 as read. Motion carried 3-0. Ron West adstained. <br /> <br />Item 1. WestbS First Additon - Preliminary Plat Approv.al. <br />Mr. Raatikka reviewed his report and Ken Peterson pointed out that the deficiencies <br />were minor in nature. Mr.'Raatikka suggested that since the soils seemed <br />suitable and this was only a two lot plat, variances be granted on the items <br />referring to soils tests.
