P & Z-1- <br />12/11/78 <br /> <br /> City of Ramsey <br />County of Anoka <br />State of Minnesota <br /> <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, the Ramsey City Planning & Zoning <br />Commission held a Public Hearing on December 11, 1978 at the Ramsey Municipal <br />Center, 15153 Nowthen Blvd. N.Wo Ramsey Minnesota 55303. <br /> <br />Chairman Ken Peterson called the Public Hearing to order at 7:45 p.m. with the <br />following in attendance: <br /> <br />Ken Peterson <br />Ron West <br />Brad Bodle <br /> <br />Kathy Schneider <br />A1 Sorteberg <br />Gerry Zimmerman <br /> <br />Art Dunn <br />Also Present: <br /> <br />Clayton Berg, Bldg. Off. <br /> <br />Chairman Ken Peterson explained that this was a hearing to consider a request <br />from Mrs. Jean Schlueter, 1§011 Juniper Ridge Drive, to obtain a home occupation <br />permit to allow her to build and sell miniature doll house furniture and accessories <br />in her home. <br /> <br />Mrs. Schlueter explained that she would use one room in her house, and the service <br />would be on appointment only with advertising being done through displays at places <br />such as antique shows. She stated that there would be ample parking and no traffic <br />hazard, and in the event this would change, she would relocate the business. Mrs. <br />Schlueter also stated that she would not be having a sign of any kind outside. <br />A1 Sorteberg asked who would~be the potential buyers, and Art Dunn asked if the <br />items would be made at the hDme? Jean Schlueter stated that some of the items <br />would be made in the hOme, but that there would not be any wood stored outside. <br /> <br />Mrs. Schlueter asked how long permit would be for, and if a new fee would have <br />to be paid? Commission explained that there would be a time limit for <br />reviewal placed on the permit if granted, and would be determined when the re- <br />commendation was made, but that a new fee shouldn't have to be paid if a renewal <br />is granted.
