LANNING & ZONING COMMISSION <br /> CITY OF RAMSEY <br /> COUNTY OF ANOKA <br /> STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> <br />July 6, 1976-7:30 P.M. <br /> <br />P & Z/ 7/6/76 <br /> <br />A meeting of the Planning & Zoning Commission was held on July 6, 1976, <br />at Ramsey Elementary Schdol, 15000 Nowthen Boulevard N.W., Ramsey, MN 55303 <br /> <br />Present: A1 Sorteberg, Qhairman Also Present: Clerk-Walker <br /> Bradley Bodle~I Attorney Goodrich <br /> Thomas Gamec Engineer Raatikka <br /> Ronald West ~, <br /> Thomas Moorhou~e <br /> Absent: Gerald Zimmerm~n <br /> <br />Motion by Thomas Gamec, ~econded by Thomas Moorhouse to approve the minutes <br />of the June 7th regular ~eeting. <br /> ! Carried 5 to 0 <br /> <br />Attorney Goodrich discussed Ordinance 75-5, Platting and Subdivision Ordinance <br />with the Commission. <br /> <br />High Point Plat. <br />The Commission informed ~r. Rohrer that a conditional use permit has to be <br />granted for the plat sin~e it falls in the interium ordinance area. <br /> <br />Motion by Thomas Moorhous~, seconded by Bradley Bodle to set a public <br />hearing on the conditional use permit for the preliminary plat of High Point <br />on August 2nd at 7:00 P.m. in the music room of the Ramsey Elementary School. <br /> <br />Ronald Danner, request fo? a variance, to convey a tr~c~ of land by metes <br />and bounds, ref. Ordinanc~ 75-5, Section 12.01. <br /> <br />Motion by Thomas Gamec, seconded by Ronald West to recommend to the City <br />Council that Mr. Ronald D~nner be given a variance to Ordinance 75-5, Section <br />12.01, at 17530 Nowthen B~ulevard N.W., to convey Track A of his land by <br />metes and bounds so that]the frontage is adequate, there is 6.3 acres and <br />the Commission does not ~resee any other road or building in back of Track A. <br /> ~ Carried 5 to 0 <br /> <br />with the stipulation that <br />them by the County Highwa. <br />This recommendation is ba <br />that it will be the best <br /> <br />Gordon & Pat Hicks, request for a variance for building permit. <br /> <br />Motion by Bodle, secondediby Moorhouse to recommend to the Council that Gordon <br />and Pat Hicks, 2148 Bunke? Lake Boulevard, be granted a variance for a building <br />permit to build on a piec~ of land conveyed by metes and bounds with a frontage <br />of 148.47 feet which is 1~1.13 feet less than the requirement of 300 feet, and <br /> access to the adjacent highway will be granted to <br /> ~ Department.
