' CITY OF RAMSEY <br /> PLANNING & ZONING COMMISSION <br /> i Regular Meeting <br /> May~3, 1976, 7:30 p.m. <br /> <br />The meeting was called to o~der at 7:30 p.m., by Bradley Bodle, acting <br />Chairman. <br /> <br />Present members: Bradley Bodle, Gerald Zimmerman, Thomas Gamec, Ronald West, <br />Thomas Moorhouse. A1 Sorte~erg arrived at 7:35 p.m. <br /> <br />The Commission discussed Wh!te Pines preliminary plat application. <br /> <br />Motion by Thomas Gamec, secbnded by Thomas Moorhouse to accept the preliminary <br />plat with a request for a v~riance on the blacktopping of the streets and that <br />Germanium be upgraded that ~.2 acres of land be dedicated for park land as <br />indicated on the preliminar~ plat dated 4/29/76. Also recommended was that <br />the land be kept in its natbral state and that the access is to be the West <br />33 feet of Lot 4, Block 3, .~nd be a part of the dedicated park land. And a <br />re-subdivision plat will be., presented before the final plat is accepted. <br /> Carried 6 to 0 <br /> <br />Kennel Permit Request <br />Jean Thurston of 15410 Hematite Street, appeared to request a special use <br />permit for a kennel licensei. Discussion was held. <br /> <br />Motion by Bradley Bodle secbnded by Thomas Gamec to recommend that the Council <br />grant a special use permit ~or Jean Thurston residing at 15410 Hematite Street, <br />for a kennel license. ~ <br /> ~ Carried 6 to 0 <br /> <br />The Commission then discussed the meeting agenda and that the secretary <br />should get it out to the me~nbers on the Wednesday pnevious to the meeting. <br /> <br />Mayor Cox brought in a preliminary plan and qUestions on a variance on sub- <br />dividing more land and whether he needed a variance or not. Chairman Sorteberg <br />indicated to Mayor Cox thatlhe would need a variance. No further action. <br /> <br />Minutes of the April 5th me,ting. <br />Motion by Thomas Gamec seconded by Bradley Bodle to approve the minutes of the <br />April 5th meeting. ~ Carried 6 to 0 <br /> <br />Motion by Thomas Gamec seconded by Thomas Moorhouse to adjourn. <br /> Carried 6 to 0 <br /> <br />Meeting adjourned at 10:00 p.m. <br /> <br />Respectfully submitted, <br /> <br />Donald E.
