P~ANNING & ZONING MEETING I April 5, 1976 A meeting of the Plahning & Zoning Commission Was held on April 5, 19 76. Motion by Tom Gamec lseconded by Bradley Bodle to approve the minutes of the Marc~ t, 1976, meeting as mailed. Garried 6 to 0 Approval of the min~.tes of the special meeting on March 22, 1976. Motion by Bradley Bqdle seconded by Ron West to approve the minutes of the MarcR 22, 1976, special meeting. ~arried 6 to 0 Approval of the minutes of the special meeting on March 29, 1976. [ Motion by Z~mmerman~seconded by Tom Gamec to approve the minutes of the March 29, 1976, special meeting. Carried 6 to 0 Mr. Dennis Springer}presentedapreliminary sketch plan to the Planning & Zoning C~mmission. Discussion on the plat. He needs an access ~treet to the land from the south. He needs 300 feet frontage on lots and 2.5 acres per lot. The Commission suggeste~ that Mr. Springer rework the sketch plan with the City Enginger and come back with a better plan. No action was takenl on the sketch plan at this time. Chairman Sorteberg ~resented a preliminary draft that was put together by the Met.~o Council on A Planning Handbook for Preserving AgricultOral Lands. Discussion centeredf on the fact that Ramsey has little agricultural land. More copies pre to be obtained and distributed to members. Tom Moorhouse introduced information about putting out a newsletter type leaflet on wha~ Planning & Zoning is doing on the proposed Urban Planning District. Discussion followed.
