P&Z <br />3~29/76 <br /> <br /> PI~NNING & ZONING COMMISSION <br /> CITY OF RAMSEY <br /> iCOUNTY OF ANOKA <br /> STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> <br />A meeting of the PlUming & Zoning Commission was held on <br />March 29, 1976, at 7.00 p.m., at Ramsey Elementary School. <br />The meeting was called to order by Chairman A1 Sorteberg. <br /> <br />Present: A1 Sorteberg Also Present: <br /> Gerald Zin~erman <br /> Bradley Bo~le <br /> Ron West <br /> Dennis Klohs <br /> Thomas GamUt <br /> <br /> Absent: Tom Moorho~se (until 7:10 p.m.) <br /> <br />Dr. Thomas Anderson, ti6210 Nowthen Boulevard, presented his <br />sketch plan for CommSsSion review. <br />Mr. Tom Moorhouse present at 7:10 p.m. <br /> <br />After review of the ~ketch plan of Dr. Anderson's proposed plat <br />Bradley Bodle made t~e motion with a second by Tom Gamec that <br />the Commission recommends that Dr. Anderson proceed with his <br />preliminary plat according to current ordinances. <br /> ! Carried 7 to 0 <br /> <br />Dr. Anderson requested to be on the agenda at the regular <br />Commission meeting o9 April 5, 1976. <br />Attorney William Goodrich and Planner Bernie Steffen present at <br />7:30 p.m. <br /> <br />Attorney Goodrich ga~e a brief rundown on the ordinance <br />pertaining to the new urban district planning documents. He <br />presented the model ~rdinance that he drafted and went over <br />all changes from the Ipresent zoning ordinance. The Commission <br />and Mr. Walker did give Attorney Goodrich input that he noted <br />for further researchj <br /> <br />Bernie Steffens then igave a brief review of the urban planning <br />district plan for th~ people that were present. He also went <br />over the procedure ts start adopting the plan. Mr. Steffens <br />indicated that the Co~mission should recommend to the Council <br />that they transmit t~e urban planning district documents to the <br />Metro Council for itsI informal review and comments on the proposal <br />and that the Council ~dOpt an interium ordinance replacing the <br />present moratorium a~d requiring special use permits in accordance <br />to the standards of the proposed urban planning district documents, <br />and using controls reviewed by the City Council. <br /> <br />Donald Walker, Clerk-Treas. <br /> <br /> <br />
