REGULAR MEETING!OF RAMSEY CITY PLANNING AND ZONING CO>~f!ISSION <br /> I November 14, 1975 <br /> <br />The meeting was called to order by Chairman Sorteberg. The <br />following Commissionimembers were present: Mr. Gamec, Mr. <br />Zimmerman, Mr. Klohs ~ <br /> <br />I'~otion by Mr. Gamec to approve the preliminary plat of <br />Flintwood Hills withithe stipulation that special designs be <br />req~%~d-oT--gl-f sept{c tank disposal systems or proof that such <br />special designs are Sn~ecessary at the time the building permit <br />is applied for. Mot!o~ seconded by Mr. Klohs and carried 4-0. <br /> <br />This preliminary plat to be presented to the City Council on <br />Monday, November 24,i1975. <br />Mr. Don Greenberg wa~ present to ask for approval of the <br />preliminary plat of ~a~eway North Industrial Park. <br />Discussion ensued on!park dedication, also for roads leading into <br />Lot 1,.Btock 1 to be!pUrchased by Mr. Smothers for a wood shavings <br />factory. Mr. Greenb~rg stated that sewers would not be needed in <br />this plat. <br /> <br />Motion by Mr. Klohs ~hat Gate~ay North Industrial Park preliminary <br />plat be approved as Dubmitted, with the agreement that the street <br />i~aving~ requirement bG waived until the time building permits have <br />been issued on 50~ o~ the plat as shove; and that instead of a park <br />dedication, a specified percentage of the appraised value of the <br />]_and be given to the[City. Motion seconded by Gamec and carried <br /> <br />Carter Valley First ~ddition. Mrs. Carter has withdrawn <br />intention to plat h~r property as previously submitted as <br />Carter Valley. She ithen asked to sell her land by metes and <br />bounds descriptions iof ten acre tracts. Chairman Sorteberg <br />advised her t~at Cit~ Attorney Goodrich will have to review <br />the subdivision ordJjnance as to the legality of selling separate <br />parcels of land without platting it. Mrs. Carter will appear <br />at another Planning lan~d Zoning meeting in the future. <br /> <br />I~tr. Warren Carlson~owner of K.O.A. campgrounds near Elk l{iver <br />has a sign for his ~ampgrounds 800 feet ~est of County Road <br />and Highway 10 adjaOent to North bound lane of Highway 10 on <br />property ovmed by L~onard C. Landbord. Mr. Carlson reque~ted a <br />Variance for this s~gn. He was advised to fill out a ~ariance <br />form and reappear o~ the following months agenda. <br /> <br />Discussion on appoiqti, ng two new members on the Planning and <br />Zoning Committee vacated by Mr. Fossen and Mr. Pittman. <br /> <br />Motion by Game¢ to ~djourn at 9:40 p.m., seconded by Klohs and <br />carried ~-0. <br /> <br />Chairman, A1 Sorteberg <br /> <br /> <br />
