REGULAR MEETING OF (ITF OF RANSEY PLANNING & ZONING COMMISSION <br /> December 2, 1974 <br /> <br />The meeting was calle(~. 'to order by the Chairman, Mr. Sorteberg <br />at 8:00 ~.m. Present were Mr. Fossum, Mr. Bodle, Mr. Emmans, Mr. <br />Gamec, N~r, Pittmax~. an(~. ~rs. Guy° <br /> <br />Mr. Emmans moved the ~,inutes of the last meeting be approved as <br />mailed. Seconded by ~ir. Fossum. Motion carried. <br /> <br />Gilson Plat: Items i:~ the engineer's report of June 28, 1974 and <br />November 25, 197& wer~ taken up with the developer and his sur~ey- <br />or. They will need t~.~o public hearings, one on the pla~ itself <br />and one on the size of a lot. The Park Board will<look at the <br />park land the develop~,r is suggesting forpark. <br /> <br />Mr. Gamec moved that ~'e hold a public hearing on this plat and <br />also a public hearing on a variance for the width on the roadway <br />of lot 2 block l, Seconded by Mr. Emmans. MOtion carried. <br /> <br />Sidney Schaumberg~ H~ has 80 acres north of Ramsey Terrace plat <br />and east of Hunter's Hill plat which is landlocked. The recom- <br />mendation from the engineer was checked over with Mr. Schaumberg. <br />Mr. Sch~mberg s~ated he had contactedthree property owners abou~ <br />buying an access out from this 80 acres. He will try to buy land <br />from a bordering property owner. He was told to brinE, letters to <br />this effect from the people whom he has contacted.I~ he cannot <br />secure such a road, then the City can condemm land for such a road. <br />He will be placed om th® agenda for Jan. 6, 1975. <br /> <br />Victor Ely~ Anoka International: They are going to ~erect another <br />building o~ the Anoka International property. They want this build- <br />ing for service work on their own and other trucks. Thebuilding <br />will be block structure 60x140 ft. with separate wall but it will <br />buttup against the present motel building. This operation was <br />started in September of 196~. Question is: Is this commercial <br />zoning or residential because of the rezoning:~n .this ~area last <br />spring. We will check: with our attorney.' <br /> <br />Mr. Game¢ ~-~oved we re(:o~mend blacktop or better in B-l, B-2 and i-1 <br />areas as recommended by our engineer. Seconded by Mr. Emmans.
