Sorteberg, Mr. Pittman, Mr. Chapman, <br />Mro Emmans, Mr. Bod!e~ l'..'(~'. Springer and Mrs. Guy. <br /> <br />The minutes of the las',; ~:tated meeting were read by the Chairman. <br />The minutea were accep'i;ed bM unanimous vote. <br /> <br />Mr, William Lyndsley b:,-ot:ght in a request for a variance for a <br />combination norse barn ar, d hobby shop. He had the signatures of <br />his neignbo.:"s within 31~0 feet. Mr. Emmans moved we recommedn <br />this variance be grant~.~i subject to the upcoming horse ordinance. <br /> <br />Mr. Alan ,¥. Olson ~,~as )~resent. He requested a variance to erect <br />a horse shelter just t~. be used in the winter months. He keeps <br />the horse at a re[at_iw~s farm in the su~er and he said he might <br />leave it th~re alt yea~' round but wasn't just sure yet. He also <br />brought signatures of 'tba surrounding property o~ers. The park land is about 11 acres° The <br />whole plat :i.s 97 ac:res with 21 lots. They will have the final <br />specs, in a :few days. [~i[r. Carson's engineer is working with the <br />Township en~,;ineer on tlis matter. His attorney is in the process <br />of making a quit claim deed for the two triangles of land from <br />the cul 6e ~;ac on Sha.w~ ~/!cres to the east edge of the road that <br />meets the edge of the ~u] de sac from 176th Lane N.W. There is <br />between 1.J? and two acr~s of high land in the park. Mr. Sorteberg <br />moved we .cecommend tbal i)eerv,~ood final plat be accepted. Seconded <br />by Mr~ ]iodla. Vot~ wa; ! opposed and 5 for the motion. <br /> <br />Mr~ John Gal yin r,~¢luesl,ecl a storage building on his ~.$ acres on <br />159th Ave, ~ear the can't bank of the R~ River. He is 4OO feet <br />from the :river. The b~i].ding would be 2~x2g to be used for storing <br />garden esui'oment, etc. .,~ot:~.on was made by Mr;_ E~aans reco~ending <br />this re~uest for the s'to:~-ag~-~ building be granted. Seconded by Mr. <br />Chapman.. ['/lotion co, rri~ d~ <br /> <br />West Sketch Plan: f~ro '~(on West and Mr o Gilbertson brought a sketch <br />plan for !_20 acrer; witl. §O lots and about 50 acres for park land. <br />It is located alon~i bo'~h rsides of County Highway No. 83 just north <br />of Trott !~rook. [![t is a i~. U. D. planned development with blacktop <br />roads. The map w,'~r~ re~erred to Mr. Spring and Mrs. Schneider of <br />the park bo~.rd, who ~,,.mre present. The Park Board with go out to <br />this site to check out the proposed park land and will report back <br />to us on :'..t~ The .~ketch i~lan was thoroughly discussed by the com- <br />mission.. Il; was decided that being against our ordinance in that <br />there is no water on6 ~e¥~er in this area as yet, it would need a <br />variance on the size o~_ t~e lots, but the fact that they would be <br />putting in blackt;opped streets was on the credit side.
